What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for an Intern to join the Talent Acquisition team in Canton, Michigan. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.Β 

What you will be doing:

  • Learn to source potential candidates through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, extensive name generation research and relationship building
  • Expand network through leveraging user groups, blogs and networking events
  • Generate candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging by clearly articulating Yazaki’s value proposition
  • Partner with corporate recruiter to prequalify potential candidates to determine their qualifications through a profile review and behavioral based interviewing
  • Support HR team and hiring managers with the review and/or creation of job descriptions
  • Participating in various department meetings as well as intern networking/team building events

What you will bring to the table:

  • Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution at the time of internship targeting Β 
  • Pursing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
  • Effective analytical, research and problem-solving skills
  • A curious mind
