Manager Mechanical Engineer - HVAC

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer  or  Manager of Mechanical Engineering, you will play a critical role in having client interfacing along with some business development regarding your experience involving an understanding of mechanical designs and calculations for HVAC.  Other skills such as Plumbing, and/or Fire Protection systems also a plus to include MEP and Building Systems projects. Leading other Mechanical Engineers over QA and QC and coordinating design information will be a responsibility for this role. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 10+ years experience
• Design of Mechanical HVAC
• Knowledgeable of Chilled and Hot Water Piping, Steam, and Building Automation systems 
• Knowledge/some exposure of Plumbing, Natural Gas and Fire Protection systems and design 
• Ability to research related codes and standards to ensure design compliance
• Ability to traverse sites, including walking through projects under construction
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of REVIT
